Expanding Compound Nodes

You can use the Expand Compound Nodes command in the node menu to “uncollapse” the compound nodes into their individual components. This will place the individual nodes back into the main editor in the Advanced Material room so that they are accessible on an individual basis.

To expand a compound node, right-click on the node you want to expand, and choose Expand Compound Nodes from the context menu.
