13.3.824 Update Summary

The Poser team is pleased to announce the public release of Poser 13.3.824 Update for Windows and Mac.  This is a FREE update for customers that already own a Poser 13 license.  We would like to thank our beta testers and early adopters for the feedback that always makes Poser better.  Here is a summary of included improvements, and bug fixes.

This release marks a change of direction for the Poser development team.  Customers can expect ongoing updates to Poser 13 for the next 12-24 months as the team explores new technologies for the next major version of Poser.

• Improved Properties palette so it no longer scrolls out of view.
• Added "Type-to-find" search to Parameter Palette.
• Added scrolling to PostFX dials panel.
• Hierarchy choosers for some tasks no longer auto-collapse.
• Added Save for Sharing back to localized German & Japanese versions.
• Improved PostFX on some Firefly renders so it no longer looks washed out.

BUG FIXES:

• Fixed a Crash reparenting with Hierarchy Editor.
• Poser no longer freezes if wrong PMD is loaded.
• Added Collada|RWY exporter back to the Mac version.
• Fixed a crash in Cg preview gl shader scripts causing memory leaks.
• Fixed accelerator Restore All setting so it doesn't return after removing it.
• Fixed Parameters search box overlapping rename field in Properties tab.
• "Target geometry has wrong number of vertices" dialog box no longer stuck in infinite loop.
• Fixed issue where German or Japanese localization broke HDRI renders.
• Unimesh figures in group now correctly respond to group visibility setting.

• Cleaned up the UI on the Materials Apply tab.
• Improved the use of the Gradient Bumps in the Material Room.

• Corrected mismatched naming of joints in Setup Room.
• Completed feature request - create flipped morph to streamline content creation.
• Increased Joint zones list in Joint Editor item selection events from 50 to 500.
• Improved Joint center to eliminate getting into a confused state.

• Overhaul of Superfly render pipeline to preserve Cycles session and use caching for faster renders.
• Fixed crash when trying to render SuperFly in Non-progressive mode.
• Fixed crash rendering HDR scenes.
• FireFly Render no longer crashes at end of render.
• Queue Render not longer crashes cycling frame 1 continuously.

• Added ability for Poser Python command to get and set light intensity.
• Added new Python ImageType object which supports loading any image file from disk and creating wx.Image/wx.Bitmap.
• Corrected Poser Python DialogDirChooser docstring and pydocs parameter names.
• Fixed the Environment Texture shader node to correctly load map from Python SetString().
