Go From Mundane To Marvelous

So you spent time carefully putting together your scene, adjusting poses, lights and cameras but it still looks "flat"?

Transforming a plain image into something more dramatic and intense can
be quickly and easily achieved right within Poser with no postwork necessary!  Read on to find out how (This works with SuperFly rendering).

Here's our scene rendered only with lighting from an HDRI of a sunrise and while we do see the light on branches and the horse's hair the scene itself does not convey the glorious feeling of a new morning.

A few minutes later it has turned into a captivating and immersive visual experience making it appear more realistic and dynamic.
While Poser does support volumetric atmosphere, here's an even easier way of achieving this which will allow you more control and reduce render times!

1.  We are going to be using the box Primitive which is included in the Poser Content.

2.  For this particular scene it was scaled to 5000% to encompass almost the entire scene but you can adjust this depending on what you are rendering.

3.  In the material room you will need to create a CyclesSurface Root Node and make sure that Superfly Root is checked. Then all that's needed is to add a ScatterVolume node to the Volume in the CyclesSurface and you're done!

You can control the Density of the atmosphere on the ScatterVolume node with a higher number making it foggier and also manipulate the Anisotropy for varying results - have fun experimenting!
